Inside the website

The parts of this build that do the actual work, and how each one is put together.

01

A storefront that changes with the season

Sweets sell by occasion, so the hero is built to be swapped: Mawlid now, Ramadan next, each with its own photography and calligraphy headline. The menu stays at four items on purpose.

How it is built
  • Shopify on the Kalles theme, fully right to left
  • Hero slideshow the team replaces per season from the theme editor
  • Alilato for Arabic, DM Serif for accents

02

What are you craving, instead of a catalogue

A tabbed block asks the question a customer is actually answering. Sold-out boxes stay on the page with a clear label, because visible scarcity sells the next batch.

How it is built
  • Tabbed section fed by Shopify collections
  • Sold-out and sale badges on the cards, prices in EGP

03

Sold as gifts, because that is how people buy them

Most orders are for an occasion, not for the buyer, so the boxes are photographed and presented as gifts, followed by what everyone else is ordering this week.

How it is built
  • Two-column gift banners, each linking to its collection
  • Best-sellers grid with quick add to cart
  • Instagram feed of the shop to keep the brand current

04

A product page that lists what is actually in the box

For a sweets box the only real question is what comes in it. Every item is listed with its weight next to a large photo, which removes the message the shop would otherwise answer by hand.

How it is built
  • Kalles product template, right to left
  • Contents list with weights, add to cart and buy now
  • Related products and a floating WhatsApp button for custom orders
