Landing Pages That Sell: How to Build One for Your Ad Campaign

When you run an ad for one product, sending people to your home page is the fastest way to waste the budget. They land, see ten things, and forget why they clicked. A landing page fixes this: one product, one message, one action.

Here is how I structure landing pages that turn ad clicks into orders, whether they are built on EasyOrder, Lightfunnels or WordPress.

Start with one goal

Decide what a successful visit looks like before designing anything. Usually it is one of these: an order with cash on delivery, a WhatsApp message, or a form with a phone number. Every section of the page should push towards that single action. Remove the main menu, the footer links and anything else that offers a way out.

The first screen does most of the work

Most visitors decide in a few seconds whether to keep scrolling. The first screen on a phone should show:

  • A headline that names the result, not the product. “Hair that stops falling in four weeks” beats “Anti hair-loss serum 100ml”.
  • A clear product photo or short video.
  • The price and the offer, for example a second piece at half price or free delivery today.
  • The order button, visible without scrolling.

Then answer the doubts, in order

After the first screen, the page should answer the questions a buyer has, roughly in the order they think of them:

  1. Does it work? Benefits written as outcomes, with before and after photos when they are honest.
  2. Who else bought it? Real reviews, screenshots of customer messages, or numbers sold.
  3. How do I use it? Three simple steps with icons.
  4. What if it does not suit me? Your exchange or refund promise.
  5. How do I pay and when will it arrive? Cash on delivery, delivery time by city, shipping cost.

Close with a short FAQ and the order form again.

Make ordering effortless

  • Put the order form on the page itself. Name, phone, city and address are usually enough for cash on delivery.
  • Add a sticky order button on mobile so it is always one tap away.
  • Offer WhatsApp as a second route with a pre-written message that includes the product name.
  • Show quantity offers inside the form, such as one piece, two pieces with a discount, or three with free delivery, so the customer chooses the bigger order themselves.

Speed and tracking are not optional

Ad traffic is expensive, and most of it comes on mobile data. Keep images light, avoid heavy sliders, and test the page on a mid-range phone. Install your Meta, TikTok or Snapchat pixel and make sure the purchase event fires on the thank-you page, otherwise the ad platform cannot optimise for real buyers.

Which platform?

  • EasyOrder is quick to launch for cash on delivery stores and single-product pages in Egypt and the Gulf.
  • Lightfunnels is built for funnels: upsells, order bumps and multiple offers in one checkout.
  • WordPress fits when the landing page is part of a bigger site, or when you need full control over design and tracking.

The structure above works on all three. What matters is the order of the sections and how quickly the page answers the buyer’s doubts.

Common mistakes

  • Sending ad traffic to the home page or a category page.
  • A headline that describes the product instead of the result.
  • Hiding the price until the checkout.
  • Long forms that ask for an email the customer will never check.
  • No pixel, or a pixel that never records the purchase.
